The Belarusian ministry reported that according to information from the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Belarus, for owners of vehicles registered outside of Azerbaijan and who do not have the international motor insurance certificate «Green Card”, the procedure for issuing insurance contracts at border checkpoints of the Republic of Azerbaijan will be suspended from October 2025.
It will be possible to issue insurance policies for vehicle owners from the above-mentioned date under a pre-concluded agreement with insurance companies in Azerbaijan on the official online platform tpl.az.
This innovation concerns both logistics and transport companies, as well as individual vehicle owners traveling to Azerbaijan.
